Private Markdown notes with on-device AI. Optional encrypted sync when you choose to sign in.

v0.6.19 · macOS only

Notes stay on your Mac first. Sync is optional, end-to-end encrypted, and off until you enable it.

Search, ask, and research with models that run entirely on your Mac.

Open format, export anytime. No proprietary lock-in, ever.

Write freely

A Markdown editor that stays out of your way. Your writing is always plain Markdown — no proprietary format, no content loss.

Live Preview — Markdown stays intact while formatting renders inline, like Obsidian.
Three modes — Live Preview, Raw source, and a clean Read view.
Organised — Folders, autosave, and export as Markdown or ZIP.

Your notes become searchable by meaning, not just keywords. Ask a question and get answers grounded in what you've actually written — all on-device.

Semantic search — finds notes by meaning, not just matching words.
Chat with your notes — get answers with clickable source citations back to the original note.
Quick and Deep modes — fast answers or thorough, multi-source responses.

Generate cited research reports without leaving the app. The AI stays on your machine — only your search queries go to the web.

Multi-pass research — plans, searches, reads, and synthesises across multiple sources.
Cited reports — Markdown reports with inline citations, saved directly to your notes.
Three depth presets — Quick (~5 min), Standard (~15 min), or Deep (~30 min).

Privacy isn't a feature we bolted on. It's how the app works.

Local-first by default — your notes live on your Mac.
Optional sync is end-to-end encrypted; sign in when you want cloud backup across devices.
AI models run entirely on your machine.
